Boomwhacker Fun!
The Katie Adams Music Enrichment Fund Donated $77.36 to help fund a $253 project for the purchase of a Classrom set of Boomwhackers for an Elementary School in Kentucky. The project will reach 200 students, nearly all of whom are from low‑income households.
The Boomwhackers have been purchased and we received the following note of appreciation from the Teacher:
Dear Katie Adams Music Enrichment Fund,
My students were so excited to get to use the boomwhackers! While I was ordering them to use for a unit with my 5th graders really soon I was so excited that we got the new ones that I got them out with my classes yesterday. I had kindergarten, second grade, and fourth grade. The students had so much fun and were so excited to have these NEW boomwhackers. Thank you so much for your generous donations. We wouldn’t be able to have all the fun we’re having while learning. Here’s to trying to pull these out more often since they’re not broken like our old one are!
